Skirt skirt skirt!!! @ 2:58 PM

Oh my goodness it's been a few weeks since I've posted and I'm so sorry for those who read my blog regularly lol. I have been busy with school and my baby and getting all my garments turned in for the upcoming fashion show.

I have gotten a new sewing machine which btw is the best thing on earth :) It is the Janome DC2011 for those who are interested, and wow all I can say is woW it does it's job plus more! Since I have been sewing alot more now that I have a better machine, I decided to start learning how to make clothes without buying patterns. This particular skirt I'm showing today is the second skirt I've made by using another skirt I bought from the store as a stencil! Using clothes you buy from the store helps with not having to make as many alterations as you would with using a store bought pattern. It also allows for more freedom and experimentation! I'm so excited and can't wait to wear my new skirt! Here it is...
P.s. my memory card for my Nikon has gone missing so for now I have to use phone pics!
