Easy Clean Makeup Brushes!! @ 12:46 PM

Buying makeup brush cleaner can easily run you between 10-25 dollars a bottle. For me, that is a lot of money especially when they give you this little tiny bottle that won't last you long anyway. Well I searched on YouTube and tried out this antibacterial soap and olive oil method, and WOW it really works. I don't take any credit for this particular method but to save a lot of money for you, I thought it would be a good idea to share.

What you will need:

**Okay so you don't need the last one, but anyway lets start this process.**

First put 1/4 olive oil and half soap onto your plate. The reason to use olive oil, is to make sure your brushes don't get dry and brittle, and help them last longer instead of having to get new ones often. In the picture below, I accidentally put way to much olive oil, so disregard that, but you can still see the idea of it all.

Next you get one of your brushes that you are gonna clean and swish it around the olive oil and soap until you start seeing your old makeup come off of the brushes. Swish more into the soap because you don't want too much olive oil causing your brushes to just be oily. You just want enough to keep it from drying out. After you are finish, run it under warm water until all of the soap is completely out. Continue this step until you are finish with them all.

Now that you are finish rinsing them, you can do this next particular step however you prefer, but this is just the way I did it. I strapped a few brushes around with a rubber band, and tied a string to the rubber band and pinned it to the wall. The main thing, is that you want the brushes facing down so that the water doesn't run into the wood or plastic of your brush causing the glue to loosen and potentially damaging them.

Now that you are finish, you have saved money and have clean brushes that will last you a lot longer!!!!!
