Nice post! I also have been just getting into lipstick especially since entering the workforce. Previously, I was against lipstick, because they all seemed to be dry pieces of paint. However, Mary Kay has a creme lipstick that I REALLY love. It gives me the nourishment of a chap stick but the smooth color of lipstick. My favorite color is Berry Kiss, www.marykay.com/jamiefreeman. If you see anything you would like to try, let me know and I will send you free samples of which ever colors you like. Toodles! P.S. I will be looking forward to an eyeliner application post. That is where I find I am the least creative.

Yes, I was completely against it as well!! I will definitely try the Mary Kay out anything with nourishment is always great! And I will def do an eyeliner post I hope it will help you out alot!

Lipstick Crazy! @ 5:41 PM

Okay so recently I have really been into getting lipstick and trying out different colors.I was looking for an everyday look as well as colors that stand out. I always have had problems with getting lipstick because some colors tend to make me look older, or is the complete wrong color for my complexion, or is something that just doesn't go well with an everyday look. I have been searching and searching and to start my collection, I have found three shades that are perfect so far for my skin complexion. I definitely recommend all of these shades for anyone who needs something new!

The first shade I bought was from the hair store for $3.99 lol. It is by Kiss New York and is from the Maxi Shine line and the color is Rich Cocoa. I love love this color so much. I can wear this color everyday as well as at night for a special outing.

The second shade I bought was from Macy's and I believe it was $22. Definitely expensive too me, but the color I think is amazing! It is from Lancome's Color Design line, and the color is Corset(with a matte finish). When I was in Macy's the sales woman was trying to give me all types of colors that had me looking very very old.Of course she thought they looked good on me, but I think she was just trying to sell me anything. Finally I picked this coral/orange color and it worked perfectly for me.

The last shade I bought was from Kohl's for a DEAL. They sent out this $10 coupon in the mail, and I was able to buy this lipstick for only $2 instead of $12.Yaaaaay go me!! The brand is called Flirt! and the color is 22 Perfect. This color is so nice and for 2 bucks, you just can't beat it!
